Friday Morning Scale Report

171.4 again today. Man, I am thrilled. I haven't felt good for two weeks, only made it to the gym once in the last twelve days, and have eaten quite a bit of "bad" things lately. I don't know how I didn't gain anything, but am so happy that I didn't.

Last night I made a side-by-side photo comparison from pix of myself in underwear at 274 and now. I took the current photos yesterday because I was in a hotel room that had an extra large mirror. I tend to avoid looking at myself with no clothes on because it's not a pretty sight, but yesterday I spend a solid twenty minutes examining every saggy, deflated inch of my stomach.

The photos are hard to look at. Both the before and the after. The before because it's just disgusting how huge I was and the after because I know that I could look a lot better if I had the hanging sack that is my deflated stomach removed. It's ugly. Really ugly. But no one has to see it.

Sigh.

How about some Fill Ins?

My answers are in bold.

1. The last band I saw live was Andrew Bird (not a band, but a musician).

2. What I look forward to most on Thanksgiving is having two days off from work. (if you don't celebrate thanksgiving, insert your favorite holiday)

3. My Christmas/holiday shopping is the last thing on my mind and won't be done until the last minute.

4. Thoughts of my to-do list fill my head.

5. I wish I could wear short sleeved shirts without my saggy arm skin showing.

6. Bagpipes can be incredibly beautiful or horribly annoying depending on the tune.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to watching "Tropic Thunder" on DVD, tomorrow my plans include getting the new vanity/sink installed in the bathroom and Sunday, I want to get gates installed on the bedroom doors so that we can keep Ruby out while letting the heat in.

Loved "Tropic Thunder". Downey went places that few white actors would dare to go. And the opening previews? Fantastic.

Totally agree. Jack Black and RDJ had me rolling. Good times....good times.
